Ingredients
  

  • 4 fresh strawberries sliced
  • 6 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon simple syrup or honey optional
  • ½ cup Sprite or sparkling water
  • Ice crushed, as needed
  • 1 mint sprig for garnish

Equipment

  • Muddler or wooden spoon
  • Highball glass
  • Measuring spoons
  • Pitcher (for batch prep)

Method
 

  1. In a highball glass, add sliced strawberries, mint leaves, and lime juice. Muddle gently.
  2. Add simple syrup if using, and stir to combine.
  3. Fill glass with crushed ice to the top.
  4. Pour Sprite over the mixture until the glass is full.
  5. Stir gently from bottom to top.
  6. Garnish with a mint sprig and strawberry slice. Serve immediately.
