- Blend strawberries with 1 cup of water until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds.
- In a large pitcher, combine the strawberry purée, lemon juice, and sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
- Add the remaining 3 cups of cold water. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, then serve over ice with lemon slices and strawberries

Notes
For sparkling strawberry lemonade, replace 2 cups of water with sparkling water just before serving.
To make a gallon, multiply all ingredients by 3.
Use honey, agave, or simple syrup instead of sugar for a natural sweetener option.
