Equipment

  • Citrus juicer
  • Fine-mesh strainer
  • Highball glasses

Ingredients

  • 2 fresh passion fruits halved, pulp scooped
  • ½ cup orange juice freshly squeezed
  • ¼ cup lime juice fresh
  • 2 tsp honey or agave syrup adjust to taste
  • 1 cup sparkling water chilled
  • 6 –8 fresh mint leaves plus extra for garnish
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Instructions

  • Scoop pulp from passion fruits. Strain if you prefer fewer seeds.
  • In a shaker, combine pulp, orange juice, lime juice, honey, and mint leaves. Muddle lightly.
  • Add ice cubes and shake well until chilled.
  • Strain into glasses filled with ice.
  • Top with sparkling water, stir gently, and garnish with mint.

Notes

Swap sparkling water with ginger ale for extra zing.
Replace honey with agave for a vegan version.
Add muddled strawberries for a passion fruit–strawberry twist.
Freeze passion fruit pulp in ice cube trays for quick prep.
