  • 1 cup cold filtered water
  • Juice of ½ fresh lemon about 1 tablespoon
  • 3 –4 fresh mint leaves
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon raw honey for sweetness
  • Ice cubes as desired

  • Small spoon or muddler

Method
 

  1. Pour the cold filtered water into your glass or mason jar.
  2. Squeeze in the lemon juice.
  3. Gently crush the mint leaves with a spoon or muddler to release aroma, then stir into the water.
  4. Add honey if using, and stir well.
  5. Top with ice cubes and serve immediately.
