Ingredients
  

  • 10 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 lime cut into wedges
  • 2 teaspoons sugar or 1 tablespoon simple syrup
  • 1 cup soda water or sparkling water chilled
  • Ice cubes as needed
  • Garnish: lime slices & fresh mint sprigs

Method
 

  1. Place the mint leaves and lime wedges in a tall glass.
  2. Add the sugar or syrup. Gently muddle with a spoon to release the mint oils and lime juice.
  3. Fill the glass with ice cubes.
  4. Pour in the chilled soda water or sparkling water.
  5. Stir gently to combine.
  6. Garnish with a lime slice and a sprig of mint. Serve immediately.

Notes
