Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups water filtered
  • 2 tbsp dried hibiscus petals or 5 fresh calyces
  • sweetener optional, honey or agave
  • spices or herbs optional, e.g. cinnamon, ginger, mint

  • Strainer
  • Teacups

Method
 

  1. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan.
  2. Add hibiscus petals and any optional herbs or spices. Remove from heat.
  3. Cover and steep for 10 minutes.
  4. Strain into teacups. Sweeten if desired. Serve hot or chilled.
