Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker or sturdy glass
  • Muddler or wooden spoon

Ingredients

  • ½ cucumber sliced thin
  • 8 –10 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp honey or agave syrup optional
  • 1 cup sparkling water
  • Ice cubes
  • Mint sprigs + cucumber slices for garnish

Instructions

  • Muddle cucumber slices and mint leaves in a shaker or sturdy glass.
  • Add lime juice and honey/agave syrup. Stir well.
  • Top with sparkling water and stir gently.
  • Fill glasses with ice, strain or pour the mixture, and garnish with mint and cucumber.

Notes

Swap lime with lemon for a citrusy twist.
Add ginger slices for a spicy kick.
Replace sparkling water with tonic for a sharper flavor.
For party prep, multiply ingredients and serve in a pitcher.
