Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup blueberries fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup sugar adjust to taste
  • 1 cup water for syrup
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice about 4–6 lemons
  • 4 cups cold water for mixing
  • Ice cubes as needed
  • Garnishes: lemon slices fresh blueberries, mint sprigs

Method
 

  1. In a saucepan, combine blueberries, sugar, and 1 cup water. Simmer for 8–10 minutes until berries burst.
  2. Strain mixture through a fine mesh sieve, pressing to extract all juice. This is your blueberry syrup.
  3. In a large pitcher, mix syrup with fresh lemon juice and 4 cups cold water.
  4. Stir well, taste, and adjust sweetness by adding more sugar or water if needed.
  5. Serve over ice, garnished with lemon slices, blueberries, and mint sprigs.

Notes
