Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh blackberries washed
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 tbsp honey or agave syrup optional
  • 6 fresh mint leaves plus more for garnish
  • 1 cup sparkling water chilled
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Instructions

  • Muddle blackberries and mint in a shaker or tall glass until juicy.
  • Add lime juice and honey; stir or shake gently.
  • Fill a serving glass with ice and pour the mixture over it.
  • Top with sparkling water and stir lightly.
  • Garnish with mint sprigs and fresh blackberries.

Notes

Swap sparkling water for ginger ale if you prefer a spicier kick.
Use frozen blackberries when fresh ones aren’t in season.
Make ahead by preparing blackberry syrup and refrigerating.
Add a splash of vanilla extract for a creamy twist.
