Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup apple juice fresh or store-bought, chilled
  • 1 cup sparkling water or club soda
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 4 –6 fresh mint leaves optional
  • 1 cinnamon stick optional, for fall variation
  • Ice cubes as needed
  • 2 apple slices for garnish

Equipment

  • Tall glasses
  • Spoon (for stirring)
  • Knife and cutting board

Method
 

  1. Fill two glasses with ice cubes.
  2. Pour ½ cup apple juice into each glass.
  3. Add ½ cup sparkling water or club soda to each glass.
  4. Stir in ½ tablespoon lime juice per glass.
  5. If using, lightly muddle mint leaves before adding for freshness.
  6. For a fall twist, stir the apple juice with a cinnamon stick before mixing.
  7. Garnish with apple slices and serve chilled.
