Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups hot water
- 1 cinnamon stick (or ½ tsp Ceylon cinnamon)
- 1 tsp fresh grated ginger
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar (with the mother)
- Pinch of pink Himalayan salt
- Optional: 1 green tea bag
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, bring water to a gentle boil.
- Add cinnamon and ginger. Simmer for 5–7 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let steep for 3 more minutes.
- Stir in lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, and pink salt.
- If using green tea, steep the bag for 2–3 minutes while warm.
- Strain and pour into a mug. Sip slowly before meals or after workouts.
Notes
Drink 30 minutes before meals for best results. Can be stored in the fridge up to 2 days. Adjust ACV to taste. Add stevia or mint if preferred.
