- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp raw honey
- 1-inch piece of fresh ginger, grated (or ½ tsp ground ginger)
- 1 cup warm water
- Optional: 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
- Optional: Pinch of cinnamon
Instructions
- Boil 1 cup of water and let it cool until warm.
- Mix in lemon juice and honey until dissolved.
- Add grated ginger and stir thoroughly.
- For added benefit, include apple cider vinegar and a pinch of cinnamon.
- Drink immediately, ideally on an empty stomach in the morning.
Notes
Use warm, not hot, water to preserve the benefits of honey and ginger. Drink once or twice daily before meals for best results.
