- 1 ½ cups filtered water (or chilled coconut water)
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon freshly grated turmeric root (or ¼ tsp turmeric powder)
- ½ teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon water kefir or plain kombucha
- Optional: pinch of sea salt, shiso leaf, or a dash of apple cider vinegar
Instructions
- Start with a tall glass or mason jar. Add the turmeric and ginger.
- Pour in the lemon juice and stir well to activate the compounds.
- Add filtered water (or coconut water) and continue stirring.
- Top with a tablespoon of water kefir or kombucha for fizz and probiotics.
- Taste and adjust—add sea salt or apple cider vinegar if desired.
- Serve over ice and garnish with shiso or cucumber if desired.
Notes
Best served fresh. Store refrigerated for up to 24 hours. Ideal for morning routines or light brunch pairings.
