Served salt detox water for morning wellness routine

Salt Detox Water

Discover why the best time to drink salt detox water is first thing in the morning—and how this timing can enhance your cleanse, digestion, and overall wellness with better results.

  • Total Time: 2 minutes
  • Yield: 1 flush 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 teaspoons non-iodized sea salt (or pink Himalayan salt)
  • 1 quart (4 cups) warm filtered water
  • Optional: Juice of ½ lemon for flavor and digestive support

Instructions

  1. Warm the filtered water until it’s comfortably hot, not boiling.
  2. Stir in the sea salt until fully dissolved.
  3. Add lemon juice if using and stir again.
  4. Drink the entire quart within 5–10 minutes, on an empty stomach—ideally immediately after waking.
  5. Remain near a restroom for 1–2 hours to allow the flush to take effect.

Notes

Do not eat before the flush. For best results, prepare the night before by eating a light dinner. After your flush, rehydrate with mineral water or try our cucumber mint electrolyte mocktail. Use this ritual no more than once per week.
